Schedule is 5am -3:30pm Monday-Thursday and 5am-12noon Friday; no weekends!!!

Plasma Operator Job Duties Include, but are not limited to:

· Follow all safety policies and procedures.

· Ensure work meets quality standards by accurately reading specifications/blueprints and verifying dimensions and material thickness.

· Operate a CNC cutting machine (plasma cutting, flame cutting).

· Maintain safe and clean work environment.

· Operate overhead crane and drive forklift if needed.

· Adhere to and uphold all CCS policies and procedures.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

· Basic math skills

· Reading shop drawings or blueprints

· Accurately reading a tape measure

· Work efficiently by understanding how to work best with and around others to complete tasks with minimal downtime

Mental & Physical Abilities:

· Lifting or pushing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis

· Standing, kneeling, squatting, crawling on a frequent and rapid basis

· Small motor skill/hand manipulation on a frequent and rapid basis

· High noise area – ear protection required to be worn

· Work primarily inside in either hot or cold environments seasonally

· Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed, including but not limited to: gloves, hearing protection, safety glasses, steel toed shoes, metatarsal guards, pants or jeans

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 47 per week
